We woke up this morning and got dressed to head out for a very early morning hunt. It was VERY cold, but thank goodness that Dad no longer sees a need to "rough" it and we took heaters with us to the blinds.
Mom, Cade and I all sat together. We had to whisper and be very quiet. We were in our stand by a little after 6. Once we were settled in Cade used the noculars (binoculars) and watched for the deer. After a LONG time he watched the sun come up, Gram taught him A LOT about the birds and then he was starving. We only lasted until about 8. We packed up and headed back to the main house to get breakfast ready for when Rob, Dad and Caleb came in.
We ate, sat around and then decided to go for a walking tour of the ranch.
We walked for more than an hour and then headed in for naps. Mom and I never fell asleep and just did A LOT of reading. After our restful afternoon we ate and got ready to head out for the evening hunt. This time Mom and I were solo. Cade went with Rob and Caleb and Papa went out together. Mom and I read, bird watched, sat quietly and really had a nice time visiting. It was actually very relaxing and nice to spend that time together.

We finally headed in showered, ate dinner and got ready for the Gator football game.
None of us lasted for the whole game. This seemed like the longest day EVER. Wake-up call in the morning is about 5:45........AM.
