The washing machine
Is part of our life
Go out in the world
And ask any House Wife
It is part of the house
That keeps your clothes clean
It keeps them so smart
That you are proud to be seen
When It breaks down
From time to time
When leaks they appear
and you don't know why
Every time mum knows
How important is it
And when it doesn't work
How much it is missed
So the next time your washer
Begins to play up
Be it an electrical fault
Or the new water pump
Remember these words
When these things occur
That a washing machine
Without any doubt Is something
No family Can be without.

Although it wasn't my washing machine
just our 1960's plumbing
I can honestly say
it is hard to be without.
So thanks to a friend
and the work of 2 of my men.
I can wash in my home
after 1 WHOLE YEAR!!!
